Infra Field Notes is a collection of practical infrastructure notes based on real-world systems, migrations, incidents, and troubleshooting.
The focus is on infrastructure that small IT and DevOps teams actually run: Linux, Kubernetes and k3s, Proxmox, cloud platforms, CI/CD, networking, backup and disaster recovery.
Most articles on this site originate from real problems encountered while operating or migrating systems. Production-specific details such as customer names, domains, IP addresses, credentials, and internal network information are removed or changed before publication.
The goal is simple: document what worked, what failed, and what I would do differently next time.
Topics covered include:
- Kubernetes and k3s
- Proxmox and virtualization
- Azure and cloud infrastructure
- GitLab CI/CD and container deployments
- Cloudflare and networking
- Backup and disaster recovery
- Linux and Windows troubleshooting
Infra Field Notes is independently maintained and is not affiliated with the vendors or products mentioned in its articles.
